Hypoluxo is a very small coastal town (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Florida. With a population of 2,823 people and two associated neighborhoods, Hypoluxo is the 354th largest community in Florida.Unlike some towns, Hypoluxo isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in Hypoluxo are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Hypoluxo is a town of professionals, managers, and service providers. There are especially a lot of people living in Hypoluxo who work in management occupations (14.53%), personal care services (10.06%), and office and administrative support (8.54%). Quite often, nautical areas such as these attract visitors and locals who come to enjoy the scenery and various waterfront activities. The citizens of Hypoluxo are among the most well-educated in the nation: 49.15% of adults in Hypoluxo have a bachelor's degree or even advanced degree, whereas the average US city has 21.84% holding at least a bachelor's degree. The per capita income in Hypoluxo in 2022 was $51,441, which is upper middle income relative to Florida, and wealthy relative to the rest of the US. This equates to an annual income of $205,764 for a family of four. However, Hypoluxo contains both very wealthy and poor people as well. Hypoluxo is a somewhat ethnically-diverse town. The people who call Hypoluxo home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of Hypoluxo residents report their race to be White, followed by Black or African-American. Important ancestries of people in Hypoluxo include English, German, Irish, Russian, and Italian. In addition, Hypoluxo has a lot of people living here who were born outside of the US (18.99%).
