Forest City, NC Housing Market Trends

With 7,358 people, 2,691 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $216,720, house prices in Forest City are solidly below the national average.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Forest City, accounting for 68.66% of the town's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Forest City include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 15.77%), duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 11.07%), and a few mobile homes or trailers ( 3.03%).
